Lowen Corporation Wraps Two Knight-Swift Trucks Featuring Seven-Year-Old Aspiring Paralympian Shine

Some projects are just jobs. And then there are the ones you remember for the rest of your career.

In 2024, Lowen Corporation was honored to sponsor the Knight-Swift Charity Golf Classic, an event hosted by Lowen customer Knight-Swift Transportation benefitting the University of California Davis Children’s Hospital. At the center of the event was Shine, a seven-year-old aspiring Paralympian whose story of determination and resilience stopped everyone in their tracks.

Lowen designed, manufactured, and installed graphic wraps on two Knight-Swift trucks featuring Shine in full sprint on his blade prosthetics. Working alongside representatives from Knight-Swift and UC Davis, our team brought Shine’s story to life at scale on the side of two national fleet vehicles unveiled at the event.

The Work Our Team Does Every Day

Fleet graphics at this level require more than technical skill. Getting Shine’s image right—the color, the detail, the emotion of a seven-year-old running full speed on blade prosthetics—demanded the kind of precision and care our graphics production team brings to every project that leaves our Hutchinson, Kansas facility.

The finished trucks were unveiled at the Knight-Swift Charity Golf Classic to an audience that included Shine, his sister, and his mother. Members of the Lowen team were there to see it.

Impact That Goes Beyond the Fleet

Lowen Corporation produces custom fleet graphics and vehicle wraps for some of the most recognized brands in the country—FedEx, Chick-fil-A, USPS, Kroger. The scale of what we build is national. But moments like this one are a reminder that behind every graphic is a team of people who take genuine pride in what they put their name on.
